Featuring indoor and outdoor gathering areas like the family room, elevated game room, and porch overlooking the sprawling backyard and scenic Ellijay River, it's perfect for relaxing by the fireplace and enjoying the soothing sounds of the river rushing past you. Upon entering, the heart of our cabin greets you. To your left lies our chef’s kitchen, stocked with all modern amenities such as a brand new Samsung suite of appliances, including a French-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and 36” range to whip up a family favorite or two. Adjacent to this is our dining room featuring our mid-century Article dining table, where many laughs and stories are shared under the warm glow of our modern industrial chandelier illuminated with Edison bulbs. And for those chilly evenings, our living room beckons with its snug seating, a heart-warming stove fireplace, and an expansive view of nature's beauty right outside the large slider doors. “My favorite spot was by the fire in the living room, with the sliding door opened, coffee or wine (depending on the time of day) in hand, and the river noise in the background..” - Anna BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS: “The primary bedroom and ensuite bath were wonderful! The lower-level bedroom has a king-size "swing" bed. I thought this was such a playful yet sophisticated design element for this space. I fell completely in love with it!” - Antoinette Bedroom 1 (main level): King-sized West Elm bed with hypoallergenic down pillows and comforters with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 (upper level): Queen bed from West Elm with hypoallergenic down pillows and comforters. Bedroom 3 (upper level): Queen bed from Pottery Barn with hypoallergenic down pillows and comforters. Bedroom 4 (lower level): 2 custom built-in twin bunk beds and a king-hanging bed from Four Oak Bed Swings. All three beds are fitted with down hypoallergenic comforters and pillows. Two wicker cocoon hanging chairs flanking a beautiful 72” Pottery Barn dresser where the 65” smart TV is mounted. Comfort extends to our bedrooms. Each room was designed to give you a different experience regardless of where you decide to stay. As soon as you enter the primary room, you’ll see the opulent king-sized bed fitted with down hypoallergenic comforters and pillows tastefully decorated with faux fur blankets and designer pillows for a truly elevated rustic look. The spa-like ensuite bathroom has a free-standing tub, double vanity, spa towels, and a standing shower for a serene retreat. Connected to the primary are 2 doors that open to the covered porch where you can enjoy your mornings on the bed swing while listening to the comforting sound sounds of the Ellijay River. The upper level has 2 secondary bedrooms, each with their unique charm. Our ‘warm brownie’ bedroom has its own personal porch with an oversized rocking chair and a hammock to hang out and enjoy the outdoors comfortably. For our little adventurers, our basement bedroom promises a world of fun. The rope-suspended king bed is a hint of whimsy, while the built-in twin bunk beds are every child’s dream come true. Step out, and the deck offers more - a rejuvenating hot tub, playful swings, and even a table for a rousing game of ping-pong. OUTDOOR LIVING: “ I was looking for a suitable family home next to the river. It was the perfect fit. We even managed to go fishing and catch a couple of perch. Of course, we let them go.” - Ivan Perch Outdoorsy types, rejoice! Whether it's fishing for the freshest trout or simply pulling out an Adirondack chair, sitting in the river, and letting the currents rush past your feet, River Run is an adventurer's haven. As the night falls, our stone fire pit beside the river becomes the ideal spot for marshmallow roasting and star-gazing. For indoor enthusiasts, our gaming area awaits with a modern pool table, foosball tables, an Xbox gaming system, a flat-screen smart TV, and much more, ensuring fun-filled evenings in style. Be it the upper deck with its snug couches in front of the remote-operating fireplace, the inviting bed swing outside the Primary suite, or the lower deck with its fairy lights hanging over multiple seating areas, swings, and even a 7-8-person hot tub – every nook is crafted with love. And, wherever you choose to unwind, the Ellijay River ensures you always have the best seat in the house. Your arrival to our gated neighborhood begins at a lovely covered bridge crossing the Elijay River.

Notes

Free Wifi After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons. Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $20,000. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit.

Access

Guests have access to the entire home and 3.5 acres of grounds.

House Rules

We are dog friendly (up to 2 non-sheading dogs under 20 lbs) but guests must pay a pet fee of $150/per stay. Absolutely no dogs are allowed on the furniture or in hot tub. No other types of animals/ pets are allowed.
