– Remote Controlled fireplace hearth in the living room and on the main level deck. (NOTE: The fireplace is inactive(turned off) from May 1 – October 1 due to the warmer weather)

OUR PET POLICY
We love our furry guests and are happy to welcome them on your stay with a few important notes:
– We allow up to two hypoallergenic dogs (under 30lbs each). If your pup is a little over the weight limit but still hypoallergenic, just send us a message on Airbnb—we’re happy to accommodate!

We have a lot of driveway space with 2 separate driveways, an upper and lower. We ask that you please bring no more than 5 cars to the cabin so that it is not a disturbance to our neighbors! *Note: the cabin sits in a neighborhood with gate access. You will be given an access code upon booking.
TVs
There is a smart TV in every bedroom (except the upstairs brown room) and both living rooms. We have many streaming services available such as Disney, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. We do not pay for these services so you will need to use your own login.
Privacy
Whether summer or winter the backyard provides the privacy your family will appreciate in the mountains. Goose Island Neighborhood has houses sprinkled throughout, with plenty of space between for maximum privacy. We have neighbors to our left, who also rent out their cabin however you cannot see or hear them from the property. None of our neighbors homes impede your privacy in the backyard. You cannot see another home in the neighborhood from our property in the summer.
Views
The best views over the Ellijay River in the summer are from right in the river; pull out one our our plastic chairs and enjoy a nice relaxing time sitting in the middle of the river! It’s right in our backyard! With over 800 feet of river front you have plenty of space to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Ellijay River; of course, the best river views are in the Fall!
CAUTION
Please be careful in the river. Serious injury may occur on slippery rocks, as well as disruption to the carefully aligned rock formations which provides the gorgeous flow of water.
ATTENTION
To ensure our cabin stays beautiful and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you do not bring items like paints, glitter, or anything that could potentially stain or damage the furniture. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a cozy and clean space for everyone to enjoy!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Are there extra charges for using the hot tub and bringing pets or extra guests?
A: We do not charge a fee to use the hot tub or any other amenities included in the home! There is a $150 pet fee (only applicable if bringing pets).
Q: Can I park on the street?
A: No need to park on the street the driveway can comfortably fit 5-6 cars in the driveway.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.
Q: What is provided with my accommodations?
A: River Run offers a kitchen with modern amenities, including a coffee maker, toaster, stove and oven, and refrigerator. Cooking and serving items, including plates, bowls, utensils, a can opener, a corkscrew measuring spoons, and more. Regular coffee maker and Keurig machines. We also offer a spice rack, salt, and pepper.
Q: Where is the nearest hospital?
A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 21 minutes away.
Q: Can I fish on the Ellijay River?
A: Yes! The Ellijay River is accessible for fishing, all fish are catch-and-release. River Run offers a relaxing experience and has some of the best views! Bring your own fishing pole and tackle, or pick up what you need at the Walmart in Downtown Blue Ridge.
Q: How are the road conditions in the winter?
A: The roads are paved all the way up to the gravel driveway! So you don’t need to worry about not being able to have access to the home.
Q: What type of security system do you have in place?
A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. We also have exterior security cameras on the grounds.
Q: How is the hot tub maintained after every guest?
A: After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it’s in pristine condition.
