Did you know that Blue Ridge is home to some of the most jaw-dropping pumpkin patches in the Southeast? We’re talking big, and we mean BIG pumpkins! And some of the most quaint family-owned farms that are just too cute to pass. Read on to learn more about what makes each one special in their own way!
Burt’s Pumpkin Farm – Dawsonville, GA
If you ask us, Burt’s Pumpkin Farm is the best of all these! It’s the biggest pumpkin farm in the region, known for its wide variety of pumpkins!

The experience is like something out of a Hallmark movie with the smell of fried pumpkin roll cakes in the air, wheelbarrows filled with pumpkins, their popular red barn, scenic hayrides through the Appalachian foothills, and their farm store filled with their fresh-made jams and pumpkin butter (you cannot leave without some!).
Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch – Dawsonville, GA
If you want a full day of fall fun, Uncle Shuck’s delivers. While pumpkin picking is one of the things you can do here, their main attraction is their large 15-acre corn maze and haunted forest!
B.J. Reece Orchards – Ellijay, GA
Another Ellijay favorite, B.J. Reece Orchards, mixes apple orchards with pumpkin picking, hayrides, a corn maze, and even farm animals. Their bakery is a must-stop for apple cider donuts and fried pies. It’s a great all-in-one fall experience.
